His gait

Traditions from Hasan lbn Ali (Radi Allaahu Ta’ala Anhu). When he intended to walk, he would raise his feet with force and would put them down inclining forwards. He walked striding with modesty and his manner of walking gave an impression as if he was coming down a high place. When he intended to see anything on his sides, he would do so fully turning towards it (i.e. he did not cast side glances). He always looked downwards. Instead of looking up towards the sky, he preferred to look towards the ground. As a habit he would look through the corner of his eyes (i.e. due to extreme modesty, he would not cast full glance by lifting his head). He would ask his companions to walk ahead of him. Whomsoever he met, he saluted first. [Nashrut-Tib]

57) Fleeing of the Slave

Muslim reported in his Sahih that, “The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said,

“When the slave flee away (from his master), his/her prayer will not be accepted.” (Muslim)

The Prophet (pbuh) is also reported to have said,

“Any slave that flees away, the pledge of Islam is cleared from him.”( Muslim)

Ibn Khuzaimah reported in his Sahih from the hadith of Jabir who said, “The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said,

“There are three people whose prayer will not be accepted, nor will their good deeds be raised up to the sky, a fleeing slave until he returns to his master, a rebellious woman until her husband be satisfied with her and a drunkard until his mind is restored.

PREFERRED SALAAT TIMES

It is mustahab (preferable, praiseworthy) for men to perform fajr when there is more brightness in the sky. For women it is mustahab when it is not yet bright.

In summer zuhr salaat should be performed at a time when the day is cooler, and should be hasten in winter, except when it is overcast.

It is permissible to delay the asr as long as the sun does not change color (becomes yellow). To delay more than this is highly disliked. In overcast conditions asr should be hastened.

Maghrib should also be hastened except when overcast.

SABR OR SHUKR – The Worry stops here

Aasiyah, the wife of Fir’own. Her Imaan in Allah thrived under the shadow of someone that said, “I am your Lord, Most High!” When news reached Fir’own of his wife’s Imaan he beat her and commanded his guards to beat her. They took her out in the scalding noon heat, tied her hands and feet and beat her perpetually. Who did she turn to? She turned to Allah! She prayed, “My lord, build for me a home with you in Paradise and save me from Fir’own and his deeds and save me from the transgressive people.”
