The causes of our misery

Not only do they make this claim and not only do they utter mere words. No, Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) personally set for all a practical example and made others act accordingly. Through the life of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) and in the general character of the Sahabah (Radiallahu anhum) this is clearly seen. There are numerous illustrations in the chapters – Kitabul-Zuhd viz, the chapter on Abstinence and Kitabul-Riqaq in Hadeeth literature. Remedy for Anger

If you are a hot-tempered person, get taweez for yourself. Recite بسم ال الرحمن الرحيم seven times and blow onto the food so that when the other family members also eat this food, they too will remain safe from anger.

Recite the same and blow on the water used for cooking. Inshallah the whole household will have a merciful spirit. A person who has this realization that he needs a taweez for his anger is at least a human, because he realized it.

But surely, if my assets were taken to Quetta by a person whom I do not even know, do not know his influences and am unaware of his might; then, no doubt there will be disgruntlement inside me ready to tear me apart. Therefore when we are unaware of Allah’s might and are negligent of Him then there explode sparks of awful agitation within us. And then, if Allah takes away something; the heart will definitely ache in disapproval, echoing blows of who took it…
