Hadrat Abdullah lbn Masud (Radi Allaahu Ta’ala Anhu) narrated that a man came to the Holy Messenger and asked him, what do you say about a person who loves a group of people but is unable to associate with them? He replied, “One who loves any one is nevertheless with him (or will be placed with him in the Hereafter). [Bukhari, Muslim, Ma’arif-ul-Hadis]
Hazrat Buraidah R.A reports that Rasulullah Sal’am said: “The expenses incurred during Hajj is like that incurred in Jihaad; rewarded seven hundred times.”
Once Rasulullah Sal’am said to Hazrat Aeyesha R.A. “The reward for you Umrah is determined by the amount spent on it.”
That is; the more one spends on it, the more shall be the reward.
In another it is stated: “to spend in Hajj is like spending in the way of Allah, for which reward is granted unto seven hundred times.’ (Kanz)
HISTORY OF THE MISWAAK
The Miswaak, a tree-twig, was in use for brushing and cleansing the teeth long before the advent of our Holy Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam). In fact the records of our Nabi Muhummad’s (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) Ahadith indicate that the Miswaak was the “Sunnah” or practice of all the Ambiyaa (Prophets of Allah)—Peace be upon them.
“Abu Ayyub (R) narrates that Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: ‘Four things are amongst the practices of the Ambiyaa —circumcision, application of perfume, Miswaak and marriage’.” (AHMAD AND TIRMIZI)

Although Islam is still being portrayed by the western media as a threat and ‘extremist fundamentalism”, in the words of the of the Reader’s Digest it is “the world’s fastest growing religion.” Many prominent social and political leaders of the western world have begun to admit the importance of Islam for humanity and that there is a need to study it impartially and objectively in order to have a greater understanding of Islam and the Muslim world. At this point, it would be logical to say that a proper understanding of Islam can come only through original Islamic sources.
