Q. I have a considerable amount of money saved by me from my monthly income. I want to invest it in a lawful business which can give me some profit. One of my friends has offered me to enter into partnership with him, I shall give him the money and he will invest it in his business which is already established and run by him. He has agreed to pay me a sum of two thousancs rupees monthly as my share in the profit. Is it permissible for me to enter into partnership on these terms?

A. No. A predetermined amount of money cannot be fixed as a profit in a partnership. If you want to enter into partnership with your friend, you will have to share his risks also. In case he faces a loss, you will have to bear it in proportion to your investment. And if the joint venture brings a profit, the same may be shared on the agreed ratio.  Read more... At first, we formally detail below some necessary instructions about jinayat of Ihram.

Instruction.No.1
Jinayat of Ihram are as follows :
(1) To use Perfume.
(2) Males to wear sewn cloths.
(3) Males to cover their heads and faces while females to cover their faces only.
(4) To remove hair from any part of one’s body.
(5) To prune nails.
(6) To kill a louse or to remove it from one’s body.
(7) To have a sexual intercourse or to enjoy kissing and embracing lustfully.

An elderly Arab lady was sitting alone at the trunk of a tree and Abdullah bin Mubarak also happened to pass that way. Seeing this lady in distress, he spoke to her. The discussion is recorded as follows:

Abdullah bin Mubarak: Asalamu alaykum wa Rahmatullah.

The lady: The word from a merciful Lord is peace [Ya Sin 36/58]. She meant that the reply of salaam is from Allah, Most High, Himself. Allah likes his bondsmen to pray to Him. If a man, however beneficent he may be, is again and again asked for anything, he sooner or later loses his patience and becomes angry. But Allah, on the contrary, is, pleased the more his bondsmen ask him.

This includes overbearing the weak, the male slave, the female slave, the wife and the beast. Allah, the Almighty ordered us to deal in kindness towards these varieties. He said,

{Serve Allah and join not any partners with Him, and do good to parents, kinsfolk, orphans, those in need, neighbors who are of kin, neighbors who are strangers, the companion by your side, the way-fairer( ye meet) and what your right hands possess: for Allah loveth not the arrogant, the vainglorious} (An-Nisa’: 36)

Allah, the Most High, says,

“On the Day of Judgement will thou see those who told lies against Allah; their faces will be turned black: is there not in Hell an abode for the Haughty?” (Az-Zummar: 60)
