Third Question & Answer (Part 03)

Dawah & Tabligh, Islamic Politics (Al-Eitidal fi Maratib ul Rijal)

To strive for the welfare of the Muslims is a form of Jihad

Jihad is most important part of the deen. For this reason anything which serves to raise the Word of Allah is beneficial and necessary.

Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) said: “To guard the borders of Islam for even a single day is better and more virtuous than the whole world and everything that lies therein. And to proceed in the way of Allah for a short while in the morning or in the evening is better than the whole world and everything therein.”

AHADITH concerning the rewards and the punishments for deeds Part 2

Akhlaq & Spirituality, Bahishti Zewar, Fiqh, Part 6-Etiquette and Manners, Reformation of the Heart, Deeds and their Retribution

Recitation of the Quran

26. Rasûlullâh sallallâhu ‘alayhi wa sallam said: “The person who recites a single letter of the Quran will receive one reward. And the basic principle with regard to rewards is that they are multiplied ten fold. I do not say that Alif Lâm Mîm is one letter. Instead, Alif is one letter, Lâm is one letter, and Mîm is one letter. Based on this, one will receive 30 rewards.”

The pursuit of halâl wealth Part 2

Bahishti Zewar, Fiqh, Part 5-Principles of Business

Hadith Eleven: It is mentioned in a Hadîth that a person who purchases a garment for 10 dirhams and one dirham from it was harâm, Allah will not accept his salât as long as he is wearing that garment.

Although the person will absolve himself of this duty, he will not receive the full reward for his salât. Other acts could also be based on this. We should fear Allah in this regard. First of all, our acts of ‘ibâdah are not offered in the proper manner. And those that are offered go to waste in this way (by harâm wealth). What answer will we give to Allah on the day of judgement and how will we bear the severe punishment?

Not associating with the world and conscious of the Life Hereafter

Hadith & Seerah, The Teachings of the Holy Prophet, The Ways of the Prophet (SAWS)

Hadrat Jabir (Radi Allaahu Ta’ala Anhu) narrated that the Messenger of ALLAH passed by a dead kid whose ears had been cut off. He said, “Who would like to exchange it for a dirham. The hearers said, (“Not to speak of a dirham) we would not like to have it even for the meanest thing. “The Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, “By ALLAH, the world is more contemptible than what this is for you. Hadith Number Four

Chapter 07 - Concerning the Umrah, Dawah & Tabligh, Virtues of Hajj (Fazail e Hajj)

Hazrat Abu Hurairah R.A. reports that Rasulullah Sal’am said; ‘The Hajis and those who perform umrah are Allah’s deputation. When they pray to Him, He answers them, and when they seek His forgiveness, He forgives them.’

The Hajis and those enroute to perform umrah are a deputation with special duties towards Allah. In the same manner that we have deputation and delegations going to the courts of great men and rulers, these people go to present themselves at Allah’s house. And in the same manner that a delegation desires to be honored, these people are honored in Allah’s presence. According to one Hadith: ‘The delegation of Allah are of three kinds: ‘the fighters in His way, those who perform Haj and those who perform umrah.’ (Mishkaat)

Chapter 06 - The virtue of Makkah And The Holy Kaabah, Dawah & Tabligh, Virtues of Hajj (Fazail e Hajj)

Hazrat Anas bin Maalik R.A. reports that Rasulullah Sal’am said: ‘The salaat which a person performs in his house is one salaat; and his salaat in the local masjid is equal to 25 salaats: and his salaat in the Jaame Masjid where the people gather is rewarded to the extent of five hundred salaats; and his salaat in the mosque of Jerusalem, Masjidul Aqsaa is rewarded to the extent of fifty thousand salaats: and his salaat in my mosque-Masjidul Nabawi in the Holy Mosque of Makkah is rewarded to the extent of one hundred thousand salaats’
The fact that salaat in the Holy Mosque of Makkah is rewarded up to one hundred thousand times be borne out by many ahaadith.

Chapter 01 - Encouragement towards performing Hajj, Dawah & Tabligh, Virtues of Hajj (Fazail e Hajj)

Hazrat Buraidah R.A reports that Rasulullah Sal’am said: “The expenses incurred during Hajj is like that incurred in Jihaad; rewarded seven hundred times.”

Once Rasulullah Sal’am said to Hazrat Aeyesha R.A. “The reward for you Umrah is determined by the amount spent on it.”
That is; the more one spends on it, the more shall be the reward.

In another it is stated: “to spend in Hajj is like spending in the way of Allah, for which reward is granted unto seven hundred times.’ (Kanz)

THE SCRIPT OF ALI

Chapter 3, Hadith & Seerah, The Authority of Sunnah

It is well known that Sayyiduna ‘Ali (RA) had a script of Ahadith with him. He says,

“I have not written anything from the Holy Prophet (SAWS) except the Holy Quran and what is contained in this script (Bukhari).

Imam Bukhari has mentioned this script at six different places of his Sahih. A combined study of all those places reveals that this script was substantially large and it consisted of Ahadith about Qisas (retaliation), Diyah (blood money), Fidyah(ransom) rights of the non-muslim citizens of an Islamic state, some specific kinds of inheritance, Zakah rules pertaining to camels of different ages, and some rules about the sanctity of the city of Madinah
