The Rights of Husbands & Leniency towards Wives

Akhlaq & Spirituality, The way to a Happy Married Life, Women & Family

She ponders as follows, “Had I been a man and he my wife I would have handled his case.” Together with this, let wives also realize the respect and honor due to their husbands as well. If at times they happen to over step the mark, bear in mind the honor due to them. Remember the position granted to them by Allah Ta’ala and in order to earn the pleasure of Allah Ta’ala forgive them. Consider service to them as one’s great good fortune. It appears in a Hadith, if a husband goes to sleep while displeased with his wife, none of her good actions will be accepted even though she spends the entire night knocking at Allah Ta’ala’s door with Tasbeehaat. Wives should also ponder and realize that the position granted to husbands is so high that, if permission was given for anyone to make sajdah or prostrate before a human, such permission would have been given to the wife in respect of her husband.

The harms of over-eating and its cure

Many sins are committed on account of over-filling the stomach. There are several factors which have to be taken into consideration:
(a) Do not become too accustomed to eating sumptuous meals.
(b) Safeguard yourself from harâm sustenance.
(c) Do not fill your stomach beyond its limit. Instead, set aside a bit of hunger which equals a few morsels.

Hajj of the Saintly Elders Part 6

Chapter 10 - The Farewell Hajj of Rasulullah, Dawah & Tabligh, Virtues of Hajj (Fazail e Hajj)

Story No. 21: (Episode)
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khazaaz R.A. relates that when he entered, the Masjidul Haraam once, he saw a fakir with torn clothes begging. He then thought by himself.
“it is men such as these that become a burden and a nuisance to others.”
As these thoughts passed through his mind, the fakir looked towards him and recited this verse:
“Surely Allah knows that which is in your hearts; so fear Him.” (Surah Baqar:20)
He felt ashamed at his thoughts and repented. As he walked away the fakir called after him in this verse:
“He accepts the repentance of His servants and forgives al sins.” (Surah Shur’aa: 13)

Duas, Remedies from Holy Quran

Linguistic and Cultural Formalism Part 1

Beliefs & Practices, Education

God has bestowed numerous bounties upon man and one of these is his capacity to learn from his past experience. If he strikes his on a path, foot, he tries to find out the cause of it; removes the stumbling block from his way or deflects his steps to avoid it. But if he finds his way impassable or littered with similar obstacles ,he takes to another even and straight path. Whenever he commits a mistake or fails in his venture, he tries to analyse and understand the cause of his failure. He tries to avoid the mistake once committed so that he does not take the wrong track again and so come to grief for the second time. Man’s capacity to analyse cause and effect, to understand the relationship between antecedent and result is undoubtedly a Divine blessing bestowed upon him alone.

Beliefs & Practices, Masturbation - A disastrous problem faced by the youth

Every harm is the result of sins. Hence, the harms of masturbation proves that it is a sin. Why should it not be so when sins are the root of misfortune and the key to all vices. Ibne Qayyim (Rahmatullahi alaihi) says:

“The reason for every loss, misfortune and evil in this world and the hereafter is sin and opposing the Lawsand Commands of Allah Ta’ala. Moreover, sin destroys bounties and blessings as fire burns wood.” It is possible to divide the harms of this vile act as follows:

The Shar’i harms are many. Some of them are as follows:

Approved by The Beloved!

Akhlaq & Spirituality, Striding in Allah’s Shade - Enriching Lives

As if that is not enough to make a believer buoyant and cheerful, Allah further acquaints us with those blessed people who beseech Him and He takes pleasure in their asking. So maybe He is taking time to answer your prayers because you are one of the fortunate ones whose asking He enjoys and thus wants them to keep beseeching a bit more. The Beloved liked your actions, what more remains? Your bounties are ready and certified! A source for the Momin to regard even the sorrow inflicted upon him by His beloved Allah as being better than any (worldly) happiness.
