Idhtiba And Ramal During Tawaf

The practices of Tawaf so far mentioned are equally necessary for the observers of every kind of Tawaf, whether it may be a Tawaf of Umra or a Tawaf of Hajj and similarly its observer may be a Mufrid or a Qarin or a Mutamatte. 15) Fleeing From the Battlefield

Unless enemies outnumber twofold of Muslims, a Muslim is not allowed to turn his back to them. Similarly, unless it is in a stratagem of war, or to retreat to a troop (of his own), a Muslim also is forbidden to flee from the battlefield.

Allah the Almighty says,

“1f any do turn hi; back to them on such a day -unless it be in a stratagem of war, or to retreat to a troop (of his own) he draws on himself the wrath of Allah, and his abode is Hell, -an evil refuge (indeed).” (Al-Anfal: 16)

Style of preaching

When the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) had to
deliver a sermon in the mosque, he stood leaning on his staff and if he did so
in the battlefield, he used to lean on his bow. Specific and brief sittings
were held for sermonizing almost after every prayer but such a sitting was a
special feature after finishing the morning prayer, and such a meeting was
often held at his bidding for the general benefit of the people.

If he wanted to lay special emphasis on any point during a
sermon, he used to swear with these words: “I swear by Him in Whose hand is my
soul.”
