THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE HANAFIS AND WAHAABIS

DIFFERENCES IN THE UMMAT AND SIRAAT-E- MUSTAQEEM, Fiqh

The second difference that you have requested about is the one between the Hanafis and Wahabis. You also wanted to know which of the two is on Haqq. To understand the particulars of this difference it is important that you first understand a few points:
1. I had mentioned at the offset that the „theoretical differences‟ (Nazaryaati Ikhtilaaf) of the Ummat is without doubt a Fitnah. But, „Ijtihaadi Ikhtilaaf‟ (the difference regarding interpretations of legal points), is not only inevitable and natural, in fact, it is a source of mercy for this Ummat. This will be so on this condition that no hardness is attached to it, thereby making it a source of trouble.
2. You have also been made aware that those seniors of the Ummat that have been accepted as the Aimmah-e-Ijtihaad, they were not merely experts in the field of Qur`aan and Sunnah, they had excellent critical ability with regard the Shariah than all of the Ummat which followed them. No member of this Ummat, that followed them had surpassed them in knowledge, virtue, honour, trustworthiness, understanding, foresight, abstinence, piety or recognition of Allaah Ta`ala. This is the reason why those pious personalities who are regarded as being bestowed with mountains of knowledge and oceans of Kashf and Ilhaam, are all the followers of these Aimmah-e-Ijtihaad. The mere fact that all these pious buzrugs follow these Aimmah is proof of their lofty status.

The Disposal Of Interest Money

Contemporary Fatawa, Economics, Fiqh

Q. Observing Muslims all over the world which, unfortunately includes those living in Muslim countries, face the problems brought before them by unwanted interest money generated in their name through channels they do not control. This happens inspite of their being careful against whatever is likely to get them involved in interest bearing activity.

In case, interest does come into their accounts, no matter how unwanted, is there a valid way under the Shariah through which the identified interest amount can be disposed off?

1. Can it be taken out of the account and used to pay personal or company income tax.?

TASBIHAAT (REMEMBERANCE) FOR THE MORNING AND EVENING TASBIH – FATIMA

Hadith & Seerah, The Teachings of the Holy Prophet, The Ways of the Prophet (SAWS)

In the Musnad of Ahmed, there is a tradition from Umm Salama (Radi Allahu Ta’ala Anha) that ALLAH’s Messsenger (SallAllahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) taught the following phrases to his daughter Hadrat Fatimah (Radi Allahu Ta’ala Anha) when she came to ask him for a servant. He said, When you go to bed, say the following phrases. Subhan ALLAH (Glory be to ALLAH) – 33 times Alhamdu Lillah (Praise be to ALLAH ) – 33 times Allahu Akbar (ALLAH is most great) – 34 times And say once:

Love of ALLAH and His Prophet

Hadith & Seerah, The Teachings of the Holy Prophet, The Ways of the Prophet (SAWS)

Hadrat Anas (Radi Allaahu Ta’ala Anhu) narrated that the Messenger of ALLAH said, there are three qualities and whosoever possesses them, will be favored with the sweetness of Eeman. One who holds ALLAH and his Messenger dearer than any thing else (i.e. who does not love anybody or anything more than ALLAH and his Messenger). One who loves a human being for the sake of ALLAH alone (i.e without any expectation of any worldly gain – but on this consideration alone that he is a godly person). One who has been rescued from Kufr (whether from the very beginning or through repentance) and after that he dislikes returning to Kufr as much as being cast into Hell. THE RULING REGARDING MASTURBATION – MASTURBATION IS HARAM (UNLAWFUL)

Beliefs & Practices, Masturbation - A disastrous problem faced by the youth

This is the ruling of the 4 schools of thought viz. Malikiyah, Shafi’eyah and Hanafiyah and one riwayah (narration) from Imâm Ahmed. They have drawn their conclusions from the following proofs:

PROOFS FROM THE QUR’AN

Allah Ta’ala says:

“And those who guard their private parts save from their wives and those (slave-girls) which their right hands own – so there is no blame upon them. Then whoever seeks beyond that (which is lawful), they are the transgressors.’’ (Surah Al-Muminuun, Ayah 5 and 6.)

1) Ascribing Associates To Allah, the Most High (Shirk)

Beliefs & Practices, Major Sins

The worst major sin is Shirk. It is of two kinds:

a) To hold that Allah has an equal, whereas He has created you, and to worship another with Him, whether it be a stone, tree, sun, moon, prophet, sheikh, star, angel or other. This is the greatest shirk mentioned by Allah, the Most High, the Almighty, says,

“Allah forgiveth not (the sin of) joining other gods with Him; but He forgiveth whom He pleaseth other sins than this; one who joins other gods with Allah hath strayed far, far away (from the right).” (An-Nisa:l16)

Chapter 05 TAQLEED OF INDIVIDUAL IN TIMES OF SAHABAH AND TABI’EEN Part 4

Fiqh, The Legal Status of Following a Madhab

Amr ibn Maymoon al-Awdi said that Sayyidina Mu’az Ibn Jabal went to them in Yemen as the Prophet’s envoy. He said, “I heard his takbir in the Fajr salah. His voice was heavy and I naturally developed a love for him. Then, I did not separate from him till he died. I buried him in Syria. Then I looked for the next greatest jurists and came to lbn Masood and stayed with him till he died. (Abu Dawood v1 p26, Ahmed v5 p231)
